another boring day in Ohio
Tuesday I slept late again. I think I'm catching up on my sleep deficit from last week. Then we went to lunch with Aunt Betty. She invited us on Monday. We went to Pullman Bay again, but this time we had breakfast (even though it was actually lunchtime by the time we got there). Aunt Betty talked nonstop. She is funny.
We hung around the house for a couple of hours and then we decided to go to the theater downtown and see "National Treasure" - it was fairly dumb, but not bad.It was better once it really got rolling in the 2nd half because you forgot to nitpick. Actually my favorite part was Sean Bean even though (as usual) he was the bad guy. I wanted him to have more dialogue because I love to listen to him talk. (Hmm, I wonder if he does audiobooks.)
After the movie we made our usual visit to the Wine Store, which for some reason has the world's best pizza. We ate there and then we went back "home" - Rob's parents had gone to some sort of meeting so, well, let's just say we took full advantage of the alone-time.
I had left a message for Mom at the house and Art called back and said that she was still in the hospital! (She was SUPPOSED to get out on Sunday.) It's something about her blood-thinner now - they took her off of Cumedin (sp?) because they were afraid that it could cause bleeding in her brain, but now apparently they decided she needed to be back on a blood-thinner, so they have her on a different (IV) one. When it gets to the point where they're satisfied with it she'll get to go home. Hopefully that will be before Thanksgiving!
(Note: she got out of the hospital at 7:00 Wednesday night. She said they were trying to get as many patients released as possible and it was a zoo. But at least she was out!)
