mellicious: pink manicure (baa)
This is the one I was talking about yesterday. It's been sitting on my flash drive for months, and I have no idea about its provenance, or what the name of it is, or anything like that. It seems to just sort of be semi-random facts, in a list, and I don't think it's finished. (And it's hard to finish it when you're not quite sure what the point is!) But it's sort of interesting, so I'm posting it anyway.

I like coffee. (But I am usually too cheap to pay for Starbuck's.)
I like cheese.
Pepperoni-with-extra-cheese is the food of the gods.
I have a secret thing for cookie dough.

I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I like Angel. I loooved Firefly. I have a newly-developed love for American Idol (sorry).

I'm terrible at setting goals. I usually just don't bother, because it seems like once I set them I'm LESS likely to actually achieve them.

I've lived in the Houston area nearly all my life, but I've never actually lived in Houston. I've always lived on the outskirts.

I've only been journaling since 2003, and blogging since 2004.
This still means I've been blogging longer than 90% of the people out there.

I love being alone, at least part of the time.
I love talking to people, at least most of the time.
But I sort of hate talking on the phone. (Unless I'm in the right mood.)
I don't usually answer my phone at all, unless I recognize your number.

I have a love/hate relationship with shopping for clothes.
I unequivocally love shopping for jewelry.
(You gotta assume that the fact that most jewelry doesn't have sizes figures into that somewhere.)

I have a day of the month I think of as lucky, because some good things happened to me in high school on that day. It hardly ever has been particularly lucky since I've been an adult, though.

I'm blind as a bat in the sun, which is why you hardly ever see an outdoor picture of me without sunglasses (and if you do, I'm squinting).

I spend way too much time on the computer. (Duh.)
I have spent an awful lot of my spare time the last couple of years playing Kingdom of Loathing, but I seem to have finally shaken that addiction for new ones.

I'm a feminist.
Despite what my father says, this does not mean I hate men. (I don't think he thinks that *I* hate men, just that all feminists do. Pointing out the gaping logical hole in that argument - "but I'm a feminist..." - doesn't seem to help.)

Huh, I was talking earlier about jewelry not having sizes, and I was ignoring rings at the time because I don't really wear them - but did you know that there's such a thing as plus-size jewelry? I had no idea. (Yeah, I know, necklaces have "sizes" too - or at least lengths - and so do bracelets. Maybe this is why I buy a lot of earrings.)
