I get the pedi for the leg massage, hot towels, etc. as much as the pedicure. I have no interest in a body massage, not even a facial, but I enjoy the legs and arms aspect of my mani/pedi. They have quite an extensive selection of colors at my salon, but, as you saw, sometimes what I'm envisioning is just not there. If I collected polishes the way you do, I'd likely do my own hands and do them often enough that it wouldn't matter that the color doesn't last as long as gel does. But I'm into various and sundry activities such as woodworking and gardening, that require my manicure to resist chipping. I dunno how I ever got along without gel. I've tried two or three other brands, but OPI is consistently best for me.
A funny thing happened last night. I replied to your thread about Mary Poppins being the first movie you saw as a child. I mentioned On The Waterfront with Marlon Brando (I am, in fact, old) and my comment never showed up in the thread. Off it went into cyberspace, never to be seen again. Even if your account is moderated, I can't think of anything in my comment that would have needed to be censored. The Intarwebs are interesting, no?
