I've been meaning to post this for two days.

The "after" picture was taken on Tuesday, but I can't say it's really improved substantially since then. We haven't had time to work on it a whole lot.

You have stuff in the china cabinet instead of still in boxes? You are doing just fine.

Well, I can't take any credit for the presence of the running trophies in the china cabinet - their owner arranged them. I just stuck a platter in.

But yeah, I suppose it's not as bad as all that. At least not in the living room. The sewing room is another matter.

Yes, but I haven't actually sewed in it yet! Give me some time to really mess it up!

I moved in in early June, and I'm looking right now at about 30 boxes still piled in the front of the parlor.
