a couple of them were sort of wild guesses - "Well, I'm pretty sure I read that one."
Yes, those long lists ask for lots of memory - I had to check up the library database - they do not have "Timescape" by Gregory Benford or "Starship Troopers" by Robert A. Heinlein - that means I have not read those (or that the library has lost their copy during the time that has passed?).
Also, in case of "Foundation" I was sure I read those in translation - but I must have misremembered, as the ones I COULD have read as a pre-teen were "End of eternity" (I really loved that one)and some robot stories (I fell in love with those, also, but I can recall finding that slim volume on attic when I was already 16, even if it had been translated and published in the supplement to a literary journal in 1965. I do remember the feeling: "This has been available in Estonian since the year I was born and STILL I had missed it till now! How could this happen!" No wonder I am so fond of attics, considering what treasures I have found up there now and then!)
