Well, we don't have a mantelpiece (and the new apartment doesn't either, I'm pretty sure) but it is possible we might find somewhere more visible than the china cabinet to put it. Most of our toy collection resides in the china cabinet because it doesn't collect dust there - but dusting one little bust would not be so bad, I suppose!
