A non-depressing entry (I hope!)
Nov. 25th, 2006 04:47 pmBoy, people can slam Dell's customer service all they want - but their shipping department kind of rocks. As I believe I noted before, I spent a large amount of money on their website late Monday night - I ordered 2gb of memory and a graphics card and a mouse (because my mouse was being cranky as well). I thought about paying for overnight shipping, but I didn't, I just went with regular shipping, which was free and said 3-5 days. I left work early Wednesday so I could go up to Houston to see my mom, and I happened to swing by home on the way out, and the mouse and the video card had arrived. And the memory got here yesterday. And everything is installed, and is working soooo much better, yay. (Which it ought to, really, since I spent the equivalent of a whole low-end computer on the upgrade!) So that is, what? 1 working day for one package to arrive, and two for the other? Can't complain about that.
