Broken Heart Syndrome

My co-worker informed me - with gigantic book of diagnosis codes cradled in her arms - that there is indeed such a thing as a broken heart. It says so in the ICD-9 handbook. Turns out that "Broken Heart Syndrome" is actually official medical terminology. In layman's terms, it means a stress-induced heart attack, but that sounds so much less romantic!
