columbina earlier today, but ignored it at the time, because the books available at work are just too boring. I was thinking that at home I would end up with The Blue Sword or something (which is what I've been (re)reading) but no, when I remembered it, the closest book at hand was not exactly that.
From page 123:
"Place both ends of the chain through the hole in the shell, front to back. Slip the ends through the loop before you pull it through. Tighten the slip knot so that the circle hangs securely."
(This might be much more interesting if you pretend that you don't know it's talking about a necklace. But unfortunately, it's actually from Bead Simple: Essential Techniques for Making Jewelry Just the Way You Want It.)
