Y'know, I really don't hate Hugh Grant, even though something in my brain wants to tell me I ought to! And surprisingly, ne was pretty good in Sense and Sensibility, which is not a role I would have thought to cast him in at all. (I believe I imagined Edward Ferrars as being sort of a dark-haired, intense guy, for one thing.)
