Sunburn. Huh. I never thought of that, but I guess it IS radiation. The way they pinpoint the treatments these days, it's really amazing how smoothly the whole thing goes. You might not even feel tired, the way it used to be.
I hadn't realized you got that much rain. Around here, we get occasional surface streets flooding, but not generally impassible. Except, of course, if we have a hurricane or something... What we have to watch out for is sinkholes, although much of South Florida is more coral than sandstone. The sinkholes seem to happen further to the middle or north of the state. Did it rain for days and days, or was this one big massive downpour kind of thing?
