I'm not putting this one behind the cut because I think it's pretty.

(For that matter, I like this picture so much that I'm putting the big(ger) version behind the cut!)

Somebody put a lot of thought into the geography and so forth at Lion's Arch, it's really lovely. This was taken inside the town itself - at least in game terms it's inside the town - but it's up high on a bluff (obviously) next to a lighthouse. That thing on the left is evidently the arch in Lion's Arch - it does form an arch shape, although you can't tell it in this picture. You can't get up close to it, as far as I've been able to tell, you only ever see it from a distance.
Alessa is in the middle of doing all the Kryta stuff - she really didn't start out all that far ahead of Mel, I guess they were started maybe a week or so apart. Col and I started doing the 2nd Kryta mission (which is called D'Alessio Seaboard) the other night when we were both tired, and didn't do very well at it at all. Hopefully if we try it again when we are in better form it will go better, though. It was really different fighting undead as a warrior, where you're right up close in the middle of the melee, rather than as an elementalist, where you're back in the back somewhere casting spells. (As an elementalist, if an enemy comes up and starts hitting me, I run away. I have to, I have crummy armor. As a warrior, I want them hitting me. Part of the function of a warrior is to get as many enemies as possible hitting me so that the spell-casters can do their thing.) Alessa is tough, really tough - but not unbeatable, unfortunately.
Here's Alessa in action, somewhere in Ascalon:

(Part 4 will probably go up later, because I didn't get any of the newer Rima screenshots up last night.)
