I was going to go up to my mother's house and dig around in her stuff, since I didn't go last weekend and am probably not going to be around next weekend to do it, either, but the freeway is completely closed a couple of miles short of the exit I need, so I think I am abandoning the attempt for today. My mother's townhouse is a mile or two north of the "5" box in the picture, where this spur-like thing that they're building ends. (Where it ends is a little bit short of the Johnson Space Center, which I assume is the point of the whole thing.) They have been building a really large overpass bit by bit, which presumably will route the exiting southbound traffic from I-45 across to the new bit - so I guess it was inevitable that they would have to completely shut down the freeway at somepoint in order to be able to work on top of it. It's extremely inconvenient, though!

(So we are sitting around watching baseball, instead. Life sucks.)
