"If you can spend a perfectly useless afternoon in a perfectly useless manner, you have learned how to live."
-- Lin Yutang
In that case, boy, do I know how to live. (I found that as the quote of the day for one day recently, in my Franklin Planner.)
Nothing against Holidailies, but I'm really glad it's over. I got 30 entries up on the portal, and I actually did a 31st last night that I didn't get onto the portal before they closed it. None of them were masterpieces, but at least I did it. With the turmoil going on in my life the last week or two, I think I did amazingly well.
And now I can go back to posting over here! Yay!
(Well, until SixApart manages to screw things up one way or another, but that's another story.)

Date: 2005-01-07 12:04 pm (UTC)I had an "I hate Holidailies" moment in my paper journal at one point but still felt compelled to keep posting. I'll have to make myself a note to go back and read that before I sign up next time (if there is a next time, that is; with the internet one never knows).
