We are probably evacuating tomorrow. Even though Rita is now supposed to make landfall further down the coast, this still puts us on the "messy" side (i.e., northeast).

(If we go to my aunt's house as currently planned, I should be able to update from there. That's assuming I don't kill my mother first.)

Re: killing your mother--please consider that prison would be a life without Kingdom of Loathing and your fabric stash would be inaccessible for the duration. Just say no to matricide.

Eh. Don't worry, we have made up already, we always do. The momentary thoughts of matricide, though, were caused by a call I got from her in the middle of the day wanting to know exactly what time we'd be at her house tomorrow. I wasn't ready to deal with that in the middle of the workday before we even officially knew we were released from work. (Pre-Katrina, there's no way we would have gotten out this early. Katrina has changed everything.)
