I think I posted last week and said, how the heck is this Thursday? (or maybe it was Wednesday and I wanted it to be Thursday, actually. I'm too lazy to go look.) Anyway, the universe is clearly making up for my incredibly looooong week last week - and it really was, for whatever reason - by giving me an incredibly short one this week. I am once again completely flummoxed about what day of the week it is, but this time it's the other way around. Yesterday I passed the little carnival on the Seawall, and most of the rides were going, and I thought, "There's a lot of people there for a Monday." Only it was, of course, Wednesday instead. (There were still a lot of people there for a Wednesday, too.)

Of course, I got the incredibly short week by being sick (in addition to the holiday, of course) which is not ideal but oh well. I'm still dragging around a little bit today but I think I'm better.
